Year 2010 marks the 20th anniversary of CSCC, and a truly exciting time for our organization. Over the past sixteen years, the Chamber has grown into a well recognized organization in the Slovenian community.

The Chamber was established in 1990 as a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting Canadian Slovenian Business and Enterprise, facilitating communication between business people, and fostering opportunities for business investments in our community and abroad. A Board of Directors are elected by the members and govern the Chamber.

The the original www.cdnslocc.ca web site and its Business Directory services were the culmination of effort in compiling a list of all Slovenian businesses and professionals across Canada. We are on our way to achieving a truly national organization. Much more remain to be done. There are many professional business people that are not members of CSCC yet, we welcome them to join us and take part in the future endeavors of the Canadian Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.

In 2009, we decided to change our web presence to a more memorable name.  Thus CANSLO.COM was decided.  This is short for CANadian SLOvenian.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who participated in the publication of the printed and the Internet directories. Especially we thank the individuals and advertisers who have supported and contributed their time and effort in designing and obtaining information used in the Business Directories.
