The Button Akordion Rocks Club and Slovenski Dom

For their Outstanding Event:

Accordionfest 2022

On Sunday, October 2nd

The Slovenian Hall

739 Brown’s Line, Etobicoke, Ontario

We were pleased to participate in this well-attended community event and wish to thank our CSCC members who provided prizes at our CSCC table for our raffle and
other goodies to give to guests.  Thank you to Oscar Koren and Martin Pušič for inviting us, we appreciated this opportunity to connect with our Slovenian community.

It was fabulous to hear the distinguished accordion artists and bands from the community and beyond.  Combining this great music with delicious Slovenian food made the afternoon even more special.  We were pleased to have our CSCC president and Canadian Honorary General Consul for Slovenia, John Doma and his wife Margaret, and Boris Ulcar, CSCC board director at the event.

It was also noted that the hosts chose to serve Slovenian wines, which we hope to be repeated at all our Slovenian community parks and halls.  More to be announced about Slovenian wines coming to Ontario LCBO soon!

Moya Financial

747 Brown’s Line, Toronto

Visitors to our CSCC table had fun spinning for prizes on the Moya “Wheel of Fortune”, and winning the Delicious Gift Basket and Pens that they provided for our Raffle.  We often hear how fortunate we are that the Slovenian community has its
own credit union and we appreciate Moya’s long-time service and support for our organizations and businesses.
Congratulations to Sonja Kolenko for winning the generous Moya Financial Gift basket!
